About Emma Espejo

Graduated from English Philology in the University of Barcelona, I wanted to study a phd on Literature but ended dedicating my life to Photography. Full time teacher of English, and full time photographer (a passion can't be neglected). Working on my photography and making other people happy with my photographs makes me happy, as well as a good conversation, reading a good book and watching a good tv series. I'm a reader, dreamer, lover, photographer, writer, thinker... a little bit of everything.

The joy of photographing my muse’s wedding.

Just a quick post saying “Hello!” and “See you soon!” before going on longed and very deserved holidays. My time disappeared among work and lost hours and I simply couldn’t spend any minute here, plus I wasn’t feeling like producing … Continue reading

Still on my last 50 pages (out of 706) to finish Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, I can already say I liked it and enjoyed it very much. I like to wonder the actual meaning of books’ titles as much as … Continue reading

Good old times.

The other day I was standing up on the metro and an image caught my attention. A woman was staring at a picture of an older woman (although not too old), which she kept in her wallet. I could spend … Continue reading

Blogging and Fashion.

Changing the subject a little bit. Hoping not to break the mood created yesterday by Marta, her text and photograph; today I was feeling like talking about a collaboration with a friend of mine. I am so lucky I am … Continue reading

Silly things are important.

It’s funny. I’m always confidant of declarations and passions. I like when friends (or just people who think I may understand) tell me the sentence “it’s silly, you may laugh but I love….” (and whatever is their favorite feeling) and … Continue reading

Falling in love.

It’s Sunday afternoon and you’re back from your dreams.  One of my most beloved moments (those moments of being) is travelling by car in the afternoon/evening/night… almost in silence, looking through the window, enjoying the landscape passing by, remembering the … Continue reading

Details compose Fine Art Photography

It’s a big day. Everything together is gorgeous and the whole picture is simply beautiful. You step back and take a picture of the whole thing. And then, right there you can spot me there taking photographs of a flower… … Continue reading

Fridays are for readers: Hallucinating Foucault.

It was June 2010, right after my graduation and I was walking to the beach with a friend in a small village near somewhere (exactly there). We were relieved after witnessing we had our future in our hands and that, … Continue reading
