The lonely walkers is a platform for photographers and writers to meet. To talk and say whatever they want to say. To enrich others’ inpiration and to talk about our own. To meet and connect new artists and to create a map of the world.

The lonely walkers is the “why we do what we do”.

Born around February 2010 as only a photographic project aiming at describing through a lens the cities of Barcelona (Spain) and Torino (Italy), it has slowly developed into this blog, a Facebook page and a Twitter account.

Here we share our two main passions: photography and literature. We want to connect ideas, points of view, different perspectives and challenge the concept of distance. Art as a means to enrich our worlds, different voices telling their stories.

We are open to every idea, opinion and suggestion. That’s why you’ll read articles and posts written by other authors. This is an open space for you to write about an issue related to your field or anything you might be interested in. We want to talk about many things but we don’t know it all, yet, we want to learn. If you want to collaborate or share your thoughts, feel free to contact us. We’ll be very happy to hear from you, wherever you are in the world. 🙂
