Following a previous post that I wrote about me and Emma trying to turn photography into something more than just a hobby, and how we felt in front of such a big challenge, today I would like to share with you and to any aspiring photographer out there some resources that may be useful.
Last week I stumbled upon Photoshelter, a set of tools helping photographers build and grow their business. Apart from the paying service, it also offers useful free photography guides on various topics such as selling your photos, tips on SEO and how to use social media, how to grow you business and so on.
Emma and I have just signed up for a free online course via e-mail, the Photo Business Bootcamp. We were curious to discover more about all these resources, and see whether there could be something useful for us too. And it’s always nice to receive an e-mail about photography, something interesting to read during your day, and be inspired.
Starting a business and making it grow it’s tough and challenging, so any valid free tools and guides are heartily welcome. We hope you can find something useful for you too, and if you stumble upon any tips or resources that you like, why not sharing them? We’d love to hear from you!
