I thought about the title of this post for a few hours, and I could have chosen between many, but in the end this one seemed the most appropriate because it’s really been a crazy adventure, one of those that when it’s all over you seriously think you’re becoming too old for this kind of things, and yet you can’t but feel elated.
Less than 24 hours: 3 girls take a plane to go to London in the morning, meet there in the afternoon, walk around Kensington and Notting Hill for a couple of hours then literally run to Shepherd’s Bush for a concert, then the following morning are on their way back homes.
Charming houses in Notting Hill
Funny shop windows with an Italian flavour…

I must confess. I’m the deus ex machina behind all this. All because I wanted to see Darren Hayes live for his Secret Tour. I confess again, I’m a big fan. And this was a perfect excuse to invite two dear friends of mine, Emma and Bea, who finally had the chance to meet each other.

So there we were yesterday afternoon, all three in London, chatting and laughing and taking pictures with crappy mobile phone cameras. Yes, the photos are crap, but full of happy and crazy memories.
It’s been great meeting there in London, we spent wonderful hours together and I’m so happy to have lived and shared with them this incredible experience. It feels like a dream, yet totally real.
And what feels best of all is that music has united us, has ignited the spark of such a fabulous adventure.

(It goes without saying that the show was absolutely brilliant…)

Sounds like you had an awesome time! Notting Hill is a beautiful area. I lived not too far from there for a while and loved the area madly.
We had the best time ever, so crazy and funny! We saw very little of Notting Hills and I personally don’t know London very much, but it was very charming and I absolutely loved the area.
Your pictures make me miss London so much. I walked down those very streets barely three months ago.
London is such a fascinating city and I do want to see more of it. These few hours there made me wish to walk down its streets and live its true spirit.
