So any excuse is good… and I want to stay in Paris a bit longer.
After last week’s trip to see Paolo Pellegrin‘s work we are turning our looks towards a very different theme, a different photography style… because contrasts are good and because we want to see them all.
The other day, I got an email from the William Klein’s facebook page inviting me to his exhibition in the Polka Galerie, in Paris. So it’s a pretty great contrast with last week’s but it’s just like this, the real world (and photography is witness of these contrasts) and it happens all around Paris these days since they have been celebrating the mois de la photo and you can find photo exhibitions everywhere.
William Klein is an american photographer and film director. You may know his film Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo? (openning scene)
So, I propose you go visit Klein’s exhibition at the Polka Galerie with photographs of Klein himself together with Bruno Barbey, Stephen Dupont,Grégoire Eloy, Elliott Erwitt, Stanley Greene, Alexander Gronsky, Derek Hudson, Françoise Huguier and Marc Riboud.

November 19th, 2010 – February 19th, 2011.
If you’re around and visit it, tell us what you think!
